The summer  has passed so quickly and has been a busy one as usual.  I've not been at my easel as much as I wished to be.  I'll be posting new paintings again one day soon I hope.  I have lots of ideas.

This scene is from my garden, one of my favorite subjects.  I paint en plein air as often as I can.  Usually doing a small canvas first, which I then later paint larger in the studio, as the case with the above painting.
